It was a really exciting introduction to the world of literature and especially poetry, as a main part of the lesson. The poems given, gave us the opportunity to "define" fundamental principles of poetry, explore different poets from different places but also to approach the depth of poetry through constant questioning and analysis of verses and stanzas. The fact that the professor used multimedia to support her lesson kept me mesmerised and curious enough to carry on participating in the beautiful and profound conversation we had. It's obvious, now, that "meaning can't ever been beaten out" of a poem. I'll be waiting till next lesson.
